Minimum Amount of Supervised Driving ?30 hours, including 10 at night with a driving supervisor (i.e.--an adult who’s at least 21 years old [or 19 if it’s your spouse or certified driving instructor], has been licensed to drive for at least 2 years, and has your parent/guardian’s written permission to supervise your driving. (NOTE: up to 5 hours with a certified driving instructor may be double-counted towards the required 30 hours).
Unsupervised Driving Rules Probationary license holders who are under 18 may not drive unsupervised between 12 midnight and 5am unless driving to/from work or school for the first 9 months after being licensed
Passenger Rules ?For the first 9 months after being licensed, probationary license holders may carry passengers who are immediate family members. They are also permitted to carry one (1) additional non-family passenger who is 21 or older provided there is another passenger in the vehicle who qualifies as a supervising driver.
Other Driver education is a requirement for license applicants under 18.
